Game studio and operator Omnigame has been awarded a B2B licence in Denmark, positioning the company to strengthen its operations as new legislation takes effect in January 2025.
Issued by the Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden), the licence authorizes Omnigame to distribute its content within the Nordic market until 2029. As one of the first recipients of this permit, Omnigame reaffirms its commitment to the Danish market, where it already boasts a significant market share and a loyal player base.
Omnigame powers the pip.dk brand exclusively with its in-house developed games portfolio, which has gained substantial traction among Danish players.
This licensing milestone not only emphasizes Omnigame’s dedication to its home market but also signals the company’s ambitions to expand its footprint into additional regulated markets globally in the near future.
Peter Weinreich, Co-CEO at Omnigame, said: “We are pleased to have been given the seal of approval from the Danish Gambling Authority which we have been preparing for since the new legislation was announced.
“Denmark is our home market, and we want to keep all opportunities open to maintain a dominant position on our home turf. The licence will help facilitate our continued growth in Denmark which is a crucial part of our future plans as we are gearing up for international expansion early next year.”
