League Two outfit Shrewsbury have been drawn at home against Chelsea in the last 16 of the League Cup after the Shrews beat Norwich on Tuesday in the third round. Chelsea defeated Bolton 2-1 at home to advance to the fourth round. Cup holders Manchester City demolished Sheffield Wednesday 7-0 and will face Newcastle in the last sixteen after the Magpies clinched an extra-time win at Crystal Palace.

Liverpool’ survived an epic penalty shootout in their tie against Middlesbrough and will face Swansea at home in the next round. Tottenham and Stoke were also handed home ties, while West Brom travel to Championship side Bournemouth after they defeated Hull.

At least one side from the Championship and League One are guaranteed to make the last eight as Fulham were drawn against Derby and MK Dons will face Sheffield United at home. Here are all the fourth-round ties, matches will take place in the week commencing 27 October:
